Chalk Art Nation association formerly, Florida Chalk Artists
Association provides information about chalk art history along with contemporary applications and innovations artists are currently using. The association was first established in 2002 in conjunction with Disney’s Festival of the Masters. Local art teachers would prepare their students for a 3 day long competition with the focus on the rendering of a historical masterpiece. The last Festival of the Masters was in 2013. CAN assn. is proud to announce our student/adult competition, “Fall into Art” which occurs the first Saturday in November. In addition to working with teachers and students to provide educational programs, we are assisting in Community Programs using art as one method to bring awareness. Our goal is to provide more Public Arts Projects for people of all ages to participate in and enjoy viewing. DonatingOur goal is to raise $5,000.00 along with the recruitment of people wishing to donate their time to the organization.
